That shouldn't suddenly change. That's bad design. I don't change my habits to adapt to my tools
Not disagreeing with you here. I 100% support that statement, I'm just shocked that you guys do it to begin with. A Nokia 5110 would likely have snapped it's aerial in a back pocket. The Nokia 8210 would have likely snapped the buttons off. From back in those days forwards I'd of been reluctant, either something on the phone breaking or in the modern 1's glass in the ass.
Feature phone are so small anyway that they don't really require a back pocket. As phones have been replaced by devices that run phone apps, form factors have "warped" significantly. And I may be a "Hard Ass," but my ass isn't hard enough to present a threat to Gorilla Glass

Snowy, I sit on my phone as well… but the thing is its not like i'm sitting directly on it. I think that most of the force of your weight is concentrated right in the middle of your ass, whereas if you put your phone in your back pocket it's pretty much in the corner. Also, its not like the weight is concentrated only on the phone, keep in mind you got a whole other cheek doing half the grunt work...

That said, one time i got my phone out and the screen was shattered, but i was surprised…. haven't learned my lesson yet!

You can see Haraki and the IH ring in the reflection…. KUUL

not about bending or breaking. but putting a phone in your back pocket is fine. but dont you ever find sitting on your phone in the back just uncomfortable? like from my nokia, sony ericsson to iphones, i just never could do it.
-
Wow G, that blows. Ive dropped my 5 the exact same way prob 4-5 times and its just got some scratches. Thats shitty
I carry my phone in my back pocket all the time but rarely sit on it. Only time is if im in a rush and thats only my car or comp chair quickly (both are nicely padded). Im 225lbs and am a lil scared of breaking it and under most circumstances it is uncomfortable -
I'm overprotective with my belongings. I always get some sort of insurance on my apple devices and usually have a case for them. There's no way I would sit on my glass iPhone though, let alone any other electronics.
-
My phone isn't nearly as big as my IH-MW, so it doesn't bother me to sit on it. Maybe my white ass is too fat!

Shit :o

Finally, someone else who doesn't sit on their phone. Clearly we're the odd one's out here. Amazing and exciting. Will be chatting about in the office over coming weeks to see where people stick their phones!

I'm sure plenty of people don't sit on them, but as phones get larger the front pocket's a non-starter, especially for jeans-wearers.
-
Mine goes from left pocket all the time, just to draw hate from phone fade bitches

The 6+ is perfectly fine in my front pocket.
-
Just to reassure you, Snowy, I don't sit on my phone either.
I'm also not very careful with it, and have dropped it many, many, many times. I'm on my second case- the first one was cracked at all four corners (phone is still pristine; Seidio Surface cases ftw). When I put it in a pocket, it's in the right rear one. Also just for reference, my phone is bigger than the 6+, especially with the case, and it fits fine in the front pocket, but it's easier to get in and out of the back pockets
-
me too. i don't ever sit on my phone at all. yes it's in the back pocket when i'm walking etc but once i sit. out it comes..
-
Yeah my 6" screen phone and case fit in the front pocket too but its a hassle to get in and out and (sorry Gav) would make ridiculous looking fades because it would destroy the creases on the left side of the jean. Not that that's a real consideration, convenience trumps all n
