The fact that they can afford to mark that down 800 is so sketchy to me, I'd be afraid to buy anything of theirs.  Sick jacket though!

I found a J100 with the padded shoulders in 14 oz Berlin yesterday. 😘

                  Unfortunately it's not mine…

Do you prefer and/or have a need for padded shoulders?  If not, the non-padded J100 is cleaner.

I'm tempted to make it mine. I'd been thinking of getting John Chapman (of Good Wear) to build me one, but he reckons that they're a simple jacket, and a lot of people can get them right. So I'd be better served getting one of his flight jackets instead.

In terms of fit, it'd be absolutely perfect with another inch in the sleeves, and a couple of inches chopping out around the waist and hips. But overall it was good, and I liked the padded shoulders.

@Cole - I can't remember the price. Superdenim sells the plain version for £1200, about €1415. I think that 14 oz were charging a similar amount. You might also want to check out Diamond Dave's version, which is $960.

Graeme, that looks perfect as is.  Am I the only one that thinks most people have leather jackets which are way too long in the sleeves?  for me right at the wrist is perfect… the cropped length is great too!  That's how it supposed to fit!

Padded shoulders are also dope.  Very very nice jacket!

I thought about the Diamond Dave J100, but I have to add 30% VAT and customs fees to it, since everything gets caught in customs here.  😞 And the RMC Version doesn't flare out on the lower end, as it seems.

@grandmasterben - a bit of extra length in the sleeves is useful, as it'll be lost when they crease up. I agree that a lot of jackets are over-long, though.

@khaki8 - there was a leather bowler by the Superior Labor in 14 oz. Unfortunately it was a few sizes too small…

I haven't seen any crazy specs recently, so I can't help on that front.

@Cole - the customs fees would mean that the Diamond Dave and RMC jackets are about the same sort of price. And I think that the latter look nicer.
