Gustin

I can see GMB's perspective and this rings true for anyone who appreciates the passion behind IH denim and works.
That said I don't think any less of Gustin because of their take on production. They choose the fabrics, they design the goods and if it's economically viable -enough people commit before an item goes to production- then the schizzle happens. This model accelerated their growth and means of getting their passion and design out to as many as people as possible. I don't think it's fair to say they lack passion. Their products are from the same genre of hard wearing Americana that I love but that doesn't necessarily mean I love everything they do, like any brand. I say more power to them and any interviews or features I have read with their founders brims with an appreciation and passion for what they do.

Looks like Gustin is finally releasing a heavyweight 26 ounce denim today.
Should be interesting.

I met one of those guys at Imogene and Willie last summer. He seemed alright enough, but like I+W it doesn't seem like something I would go nuts for anymore.

What's up with anyone's boner for anything? Let the man point north for whatever he likes. No need to be desultory just cos it doesn't do it for you….

I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings… Just wondering what he liked.

I see pairs of Gustins from time to time at a couple consignment shops for like $30-40 new. Quality of the ones I've seen are worse than Naked&Famous and APC. Not even nice enough to buy for $30 imho, but people like what they like I guess.
