These are the second pair of boots that I had Brian resole. I also had him fix the width because they were too wide for me. I'll post more about the fit once I get them. But I just want to say that Brian is really great to deal with. He answered all my questions and is a total professional. If you want an amazing resole, shoot him an email. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Great work and great to deal with.

I assume he has to take the boot completely apart to add the half-sole?  I really want that sole on my RCs, but hesitate because there is so little wear on my original leather soles.

Also they fit well now, but could not be any smaller.  I would have sized up but they did not make a 13 at the time - I'm probably a true 12.5.  I worry that somehow a resole would impact the sizing.  Do you think that should be a concern?

You can get a rubber half sole glued on if the leather sole hasn't been worn down much. Brian can make the boot a half size larger when you're ready for a resole, I believe.

I just came home and found my Road Champs waiting for me outside my apartment door (yikes!). Anyway, Brian did such great work on these. I've only worn them around the house, but the resizing seems totally perfect so far. I almost wish I had another pair of boots in need of a resole so I could get Brian to hook them up!

Chippewa engineer boots resole, lasted on the 0-200 flat toe last, and removed steel toe.

Whites boots resole with full leather sole & Role Club heels. Relasted on 0-200 flat toe last and removed celastic/cap toe.
