Oh, this unique feeling, the thrill of anticipation before a World Cup Final with the own team competing. I wonder how the esteemed forum members who voiced their dislike of the German team feel now? All routing for Argentina or at last wishing for a European team to win it, a first in a WC in Latin America?

Don't think it's dour in the very least. There are goal-less games that are exciting to watch, and this is one. Argentina is very strong and has found a strategy against the Germans. Our team has its moments and chances, but too few and so far none realized. The tie is totally appropriate so far.
Cole, our nerves will have to bear it for extra time…... -

With all due respect 501, you wouldn't find it dour as you have a vested interest. I think on the whole the game has been quite dirty with not much quality football, but you find this with many cup finals.
