Bread&Butter will (partly?) say Good bye to Berlin. The traditional January-date is now planned very early for Barcelona. It will be there the first fashion fair of the year. Its planned another Bread&Butter for July and a following event in September in Seoul. What will be happen later is open, probably the industry would prefer the summer-event in Barcelona and the winter-event in Berlin. Only the September-event 2016 again in Seoul is fixed. Insider are saying that this schedule will earlier or leater lead to an exodus of Bread&Butter from Berlin in general. Bread&Butter has a 10y-contract with the City of Berlin. Probably the owner of the fair will play for better conditions. Otherwise was the mayor has not attented as long before planned at the opening of the fair. Influential cirlces in Berlin have long-term plans for the former airport-area Tempelhof, so that it would be difficult for Bread&Butter. Berlin is the host for important fairs worldwide like the worlds leading meeting of the tourist industry, and this for many years. Bread&Butter is for Berlin only a little event with unclear profile. By the way this was today the headline in Berlin`s most influential daily. The B&B owner will tomorrow leave Berlin with his team for an unknown destinantion, "to do something important there".
