But do you know of any good places to visit in Okayama?

      Starter for ten perhaps?

On my home computer, I'm getting a download speed of 8.04 mbps and an upload speed of 1.42 mbps. However, this issue is happening on my home and work computers as well as using 4G on my mobile. Changing browser doesn't help either.

Edit: I realise the figures above are super slow but I'm sure this is an issue with a particular image host, as all other hosts are crystal clear and download instantly.

I'm sure the answer is around here somewhere but not sure where to look…

What was the motivation in changing from Zimbabwe cotton to American cotton for IH. Reason I ask is just noticing how much softer the jeans are I got today over the pairs purchased several years ago.

From what I remember Giles saying is that the Japanese supplier of Zimbabwe cotton only offered Zimbabwe cotton that had some kind of tint (green?) to it so H decided to take some different cotton that caters his needs better.

I remember that about the green tint, too.  We could both still be wrong, however. 😉

I'm looking for a new keyhook for my beltloop.  I got loads of them already, but am looking for one, that's not too long (the keys ring like a sleigh or a jester when I approach someone). And it should look good, of course. Any suggestions?

I like this one for example

There is a great one on kickstarter called the handgrey which looks good.

Alternatively, Master-Piece japan do some nice ones. I purchased one from oki-ni previously but not sure whether they still do them.

Thank you,! The Handgrey Bauhaus Series and the bottle openers would have been just what I imagined. Too bad they're gone alsready. The new designs are just a bit too modern for my liking.

My wife (Pam) is a fully qualified, university educated textile designer, (so it obviously makes sense that she works as a buyer for a toy company). As a hobby and small side business she makes some home wares for people and sells them, things like cushion covers, curtains, quilts, bed runners etc… and she really enjoys it and wants to do more of it. Recently I was looking at a heritage style blanket by a well known manufacturer and she tells me that she would like to make things like that, so we have been looking for material for her to use for some time now with no success.

We need a blanket weight wool or wool blend  which is ethically produced and not unfeasibly expensive, some of the Scottish wool mills charge upwards of £200 per meter, any suggestions or pointers would be welcome as we are struggling.

Is she interested in recycling old army blankets to create new ones?  That's the least expensive option I can think of.  Especially the olive drab US army issue blankets are easy to find for cheap.  And it would have the added benefit of being environmentally friendly.  Doesn't get more ethical than that.
