Hey guys, I have no idea if there's any appropriate thread to ask this question but.

I'm planning a short trip to Okayama for the end of the year. We will be driving from Tokyo to Osaka and will find some time to go to Okayama after we arrive in Osaka. I wanted to visit the Kuroki Mill but my Japanese friend called them and was told that they don't allow visitors as the looms are too loud and that the mill may not be safe for visitors.

Have any of you guys visited any of the mills in Okayama before? If you have, could you share some info about them with me? I would really appreciate it!

Giles, does the loom that produces the Iron Heart denim allow visitors? It would be really great if I could see the looms that produce my favourite denim!

          Thanks guys!

They don't I am afraid.  In the main they are tiny little operations in the middle of no where with no one there who speaks English.  And yes, they are noisy and dangerous…..Sorry....

But do you know of any good places to visit in Okayama?

Do you think tan suede boots like these would work with a black leather jacket, a brown leather jacket, both or neither?

I would say brown but not the black. Would probably work well with burgundy leather too…

I am in absolute disagreement with @Megatron1505.  That tan is so neutral and dulls down further with wear, it'll work with anything.

PS, I have a pair of unworn 25.5 here that I will let go for a song

I've always been crap at matching footwear with outerwear and now I'm even more confused.  Thanks guys!

G, unfortunately I'm a 26 cm in Japanese footwear.  Otherwise I'd be all over that offer.

I totally think they would work with both black and brown leather jackets. That's the beauty of tan footwear.

To modify my statement, @Giles is absolutely correct that they would be fine when well worn in and a bit dirty, I think that wearing them from new condition with a black leather jacket would be too much of a contrast.
