One of the boots they like to stick the crepe soles on is the Rios Ropers. But I don't think I've ever seen that exact same sole as used on the Mushmans on any other boot. Usually like this:

That leather/color would probably look pretty good on the Lofgren Donkey Puncher.

Mushmans specced them for the Japanese market and I suspect they don't give a toss that markets they are not releasing them for, do not like them….

That would explain why you have to go digging through niche Japanophile enthusiast blogs to find evidence of them
