So Luis Suarez has been banned for nine games, four months minimum. I think this is a good decision. Grave enough to bring the point home about the unacceptability of his behavior, and yet giving him a chance for probation and to continue his career in the autumn, hopefully a "socialized" culprit who will know in what to bite and where not.

Saw the German squad deliver a solid, but not very exiting game in which they didn't allow the US many chances. Germany keeps its record clean as a team never missing the knock-out stage. But they didnt look like a potential World Cup winner to me!
The USA a lucky loser who also advances. Ronaldo's goal will be small consolation for the Portuguese.
