Over the top Struise brew - love it… http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/struise-black-albert/77305/

Jackpot?.. Jackpot… Many thanks @xtcclassic !!!

Too bad it wasn't in stock last time you visited
It's probably my favourite tripel… That and the Struise XXX Rye Tripel...
YANKS!.. What should I buy from this GLORIOUS selection (apart from that Bourbon County and Founder's Imp Stout and the Ommegang Three Philosophers)?..

There's a ton of beers on that list that I haven't had, but I'd say Founders Dirty Bastard and Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard are both pretty great. Pretty much anything from Stone, Founders, and Odell is going to be awesome. I've had some great things from Southern Tier, but I haven't had anything on this list. Their Yeti series of stouts rules. I noticed a beer from Pipeworks in the out-of-stock list, if they get the End of Days stout get it IMMEDIATELY.

I didn't say dirty bastard… http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/founders-dirty-bastard-scotch-ale/11498/

Thanks!.. Will do!.. And yeah: was looking pretty hard at that Arrogant Bastard…
The description on the bottle is priceless. Basically says yeah, this beer has too much flavor for you, you probably won't like it.

For now, this is the list for my next order:
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
AleSmith Old Numbskull
Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter
Flying Dog Kujo
Founders Centennial IPA
Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale
Port Brewing Older Viscosity
Stillwater Import Series Vol. 2 ’A Saison Darkly’
Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale oaked
Victory Storm King Imperial Stout
Weyerbacher Tiny -
Brooklyn Brewery beers have never really impressed me. Victory puts out some pretty solid brews, and anything from Stone is worth a shot.
-
Yeah that Green Flash Barley Wine looks good.. I'll look into the Jolly Pumpkins stuff as well.
Oh, and why I added the Brooklyn stout: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/brooklyn-black-chocolate-stout/531/

I'd love for you to change my mind. I find it incredibly disappointing that this state doesn't have a more vibrant brewing culture, but at least in the Houston area, most of the beer being produced is pretty forgettable.

Seul, if you want an IPA, I highly recommend the Odell. The Founders Centennial is decent, but the Odell is fantastic.

Atwater Brewing, who is based in Detroit, is actually working on opening up a new place in Austin in the near future. While they may not be the best Michigan has to offer, some of their recent stuff has actually been quite good. Could be a nice addition to the Texas beer scene…
