Been there about 20 years ago. Cool place, wave rock is worth a look too.

20 years ago and now. a lot has changed or so my aunt has told me. she reckon it was much beautiful back then
it's about 20 years ago i was there when i was really little, first trip in australia and now i'm bringing my son there. kinda like deja vu. would've gone to wave rock if we had the time to do a long weekend trip but unfortunately we didn't. but eventually i guess we would.

it pisses me off seeing people from my place where I live now, buying the HDWC tees. I know that the manufacturer is free to sell them, I don't mind. But this fella is doing a business out of them, and reselling them in bulk and around 200% more of the price. Now they're creeping into the HWDC2 tees. F**K they don't even participate in the competition, just jumping in the bandwagon.
This dude that sells off the HWDC 1, that Mega has sounded out and us fellow denimheads in Malaysia has sounded him nicely too, claims that he just keep selling the HWDC tees cause of the people keep asking him to supply it. There's just no effing respect after we've told him off nicely that its not all about making money. Last time I heard from our fellow local forums that he has bought all the HDWC tees. -
I hear you dlaz and it was nothing to do with me, I was as surprised to see them show up all over instagram as anyone but there is nothing that I can do about it.
-
Probably wise G.
-
There are a couple of things that I can do however to ensure that nothing like this happens again, and with any luck they should both be done by the weekend.
-
Ha ha, unfortunately nothing so direct.
-
They are only selling HWDC1 tees currently right? I don't think that there are any HWDC2 shirts left, I will check with the vendor though.

I was late to the denim forums and was not allowed to sign up. I had just purchased my first pair of 21oz iron hearts in march and about a week later I learned about SUFU and the competition. I bought one of the shirts although I'm not competing. I can see why it would upset you that non competitors would wear it but I'm rocking the denim and bringing awareness the few times I have sported the shirt. I hope you guys don't hate me now.
-
^^ Agreed. I think that the annoyance is with the seller and not the individuals who buy/wear the shirts.

Cadence,no hate on you. I can see you're truly a denimhead.
its the posers that bugs me.lol. And the fact that this seller has no feeling of support towards the raw denim community. I get it that its a good publicity for the HWDC and let people know that this kind of events exists. But it cuts out the feeling of us comp participants that bought the tees thinking that it was a privilege kind of thing by joining the comp and being able to buy the tee. We just want to be special, part of the X-men.
even i didn't get the HDWC2 tee,which I regret. :|
here's a post of one of his customer that got the tee.heavyweight, get it?

Red wing is pickin up.and we heard rumours of fake IH and Samurai coming in before the festive season in July, the Eid where people will be buying new clothes to welcome Eid.
