@twin has soon as my boots are broken in it will time for a long hike

I do a 10-20 mile hike every weekend. Just not going to attempt it a pair of Vibergs that are not broken in. Hot spots and black toenails are not my idea of a good time. The leather on these is so thick/tough I have never seen anything like this. I have been wearing 3 pair of hiking socks to stretch the leather a bit because they are a drop tight in the toe box.

Tight toe box is a killer for a hiking boot. You should have a little room so your toes arent getting smashed into the front of the shoe walking up and down trails. When you get fitted for hiking boots they always tell you to leave some extra room in the toe box. My aslo boots are a touch tight in the toe box and start to hurt after awhile. My north face hiking boots are a little looser in the toe box and I can hike forever in them.

Family hike to round out the holiday weekend. It was pretty warm at 85F. Which made us appreciate the shade a little more.
Damn camera timer.
Pizza reward. This was sausage, egg, potato with a maple drizzle. So damn good.

After the last few days I wanted to get outside and just spend time with my kids. First activity, weed Momma's flower garden.
Doing fine until she gets bored and he starts trying to eat rocks
And he wants to run as far away as possible
And she follows
Simple things like this can completely brighten my day.
