The one thing I don't like about Himel's cafe racers and the Schott pictured is that the zippered sleeves aren't gusseted. It's a stupid hang-up but it bugs me.
YES.

I wonder if Dave uses all cotton stitching, and if Will uses poly-cotton. It seems that could make a really big difference, hide quality being at or near equality.
The lack of gusseted sleeves also was a feature that drove me nuts as well. Shortly after I got the Kensington I contacted David about adding gussets but told me that it would require a completely new build. So… Wasn't worth it to me.

I don't know if it would be possible, but an unlined Cafe Racer in the incredibly dear deer would be lovely…
@tatmantall - from two years ago.
Yeah, I'm in agreement about "investment" pieces.

Ha! Look like this was not a first time suggestion. You, sir, have exquisite tastes!

Whoever came up with the idea of a J100 ( @tatmantall ? @Graeme ? ) I am extremely grateful….
I am falling more and more in love.
It will be unlined
It will have cuff gussets
........So these are the hide options I'm discussing with Will:
1) Medium weight veg tanned horse
2) FQHH (chrome tanned) but skived to about 0.9mm
3) I try and source some decent smooth our deerI love this sort of shit.....
