Would love to see a fitpic. The measurements look good, though the taper appears to be really dramatic.
James, my 189 cm model is very inconveniently on honeymoon on some remote Malaysian island with his beautiful wife Florence the florist until June 3rd. I told him I have 39.5" length Flat Heads to be modelled but he refuses to cut it short.
With the length and silhouette Junior (173cm/65kg) looks like a denim c lown in this fit. A friend of the store (190 cm) is stepping in next Saturday so hopefully if the photos work out I'll have fit images by then. -

The 3sixteen tees are really nice. I grabbed some while back in London and have been impressed: the quality of the cutting, the soft fabric and the structured collar are all top notch for the price.

Here are the fit images of The Flat Head 3012. This new model with a 39.5" raw inseam is a straight fit with a strong taper below the knee to a narrow leg opening. If you need room in the top block with a modern tapered silhouette, an inseam that once shrunk of 36.5", and want to get into some Pioneeer / 3XXX denim then you should consider this jean. (Chris is 193cm tall and weighs 85 kg)

The X015 is a completely new jean from Pure Blue Japan. What distinguishes this from previous slim slim fits is the extra 2 inches in the front and rear rises. It is made from the signature 14 oz. slubby denim that has unique fading properties.
The rise will shrink down by 0.75" after an initial soak. The waist will lose an inch and stretch out again by one inch. The 37.5" in seam will recede to 35.5"
The leg opening is a fraction wider than the slim tapered fits (X011,X012, X013) and narrower than the previous slim straight models (X005, x007)
We also got a full restock of the indigo dyed round and V neck T shirts and these indigo- dyed border stripe tees in both configurations.

3sixteen has introduced a lightweight 12 oz. version of their indigo selvedge jean in the popular slim tapered fit. The ST-101x is custom woven by the Kuroki Mill in Okayama along with their other denims. The jean has been rinsed once which has made it super soft, comfortable, and easy to wear.
The new summer shirts look great with their jeans. The fabrics are from Japan and perfect for the summer months. That said, Johan, co-owner of the brand, styles his under a denim shirt. The look is on point and shows how these garments are not just limited to the warmer months of the year.
The Light Blue Jacquard 3/4 sleeve length shirt can be worn either with sleeves down or with less bunching than a full sleeve if you prefer to wear them rolled. The indigo threads will fade with wash and wear.
We got a good restock of the 3sixteen twin pack heavyweight tees too.

The X020 offers a new denim from Pure Blue Japan in the popular slim tapered fit. At first glance it appears similar to the double indigo (X007/X009/X012). Here the weft is dyed first in Cobalt blue then rope dyed in indigo. With wear the cobalt begins to reveal itself through the indigo. They have called it "pop-up denim". Like any well worn jeans the cobalt blue will fade in some areas revealing the pre-dyed weft yarns.
Another way it differs is the texture of the denim. PBJ is known for its slubby weave but this denim has a more even handle. The final image is an example of how this denim could develop with some pretty solid wear.
The chain stitched waistband, hem and top block side seams use a cobalt blue thread. Otherwise this jean has indigo tonal stitching.

Along with the re-stock of 400T jeans we have added a denim jacket, shirts, and Polos to our UES Denim range.
This understated brand is becoming more known outside of Japan for its excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
It has been doing this since 1994.The Type lll denim jacket is made from the same signature 14.9 oz selvedge denim as the jeans. This is one of the best fitting denim jackets I have seen. It has a slightly lower hem and a slim fitting taper. Although unsanforized, it has been washed once so there is no further shrinkage. The one wash process brings out the rich indigo hues associated with their denim.
The Wabash shirt is a custom woven 8 oz selvedge fabric that has been rope dyed. With wear the indigo will fade.
It is a slim fitting shirt with Corozo Buttons. It has been washed and will not shrinkThe button down Oxford shirt is made from a 100% cotton selvedge fabric with a single needle construction.
The Polo shirts come in Turquoise and a greyish "navy". They are both slim fitting.
