This is the nicest denim jacket I have ever handled. Unfortunately I have a XXL and need a XXXL. As soon as I move this one I'll be grabbing the right size. Really surprised this thread doesn't have more posts.

Hi! Wet the sleeve and pull by 0.5 inches and will be fine.

That is absolutely your size. Your t shirt looks a bit long which is throwing off the length (although it is supposed to be short) try finding a shorter tee or tucking in a shirt.

I went with the lefty trucker jacket , since it is longer and has pockets . Grandmasterben and Yury have good points.

PS: I did some modifications to make it look cooler if you like you can reverse it. Added cool red tab on front pocket and got riveted with original LVC rivets at arms (see pictures)

Quick question–is the 526J cut larger than the 526Jod? I mean--is a Med 526J deliberately bigger than a Med 526Jod? (trying to make sense of the measurements for each...)

I'm pretty sure the overdye process shrinks the denim.  And they're using regular 526j and just dipping 'em.

That's really interesting–thanks Sabergirl! so it is the same jacket, it just gets smaller. Does the OD then stretch out again after a while?

All denim stretches.  My OD jeans have stretched.  I think jackets probably stretch less than jeans because they don't undergo the same stress from sitting, or other movements.  I've never had any Iron Heart Type IIIs though, so I can't speak to that, at all.
