Thing is, I can't make it there on my own… Not during the weekend, no bus connection from Gent Dampoort. So you'd have to pick me up (30' drive from Gent), then drive to Geers (20'), then drive me back home, and then drive back to Gent... From Gent to Geers it's a 15' drive... Sooooo...

You have got to start somewhere. Researching jeans/belts/boots a few years back there were some solid pics and advice. Same with Rawr denim. I found the IH forum off a link for the HWDC2 contest. I'm hooked now on this forum and a little SUFU, and it's definitely a different crowd.

You think mynudies is inexplicable? I got started on raw denim through The Denim Debate. Then I picked up some SuFu, added in a dash of Styleforum, then ended up here.
Everyone starts somewhere, even if it's later embarrassing to admit where.

This is really interesting to read. I actually found IH through Samurai. I saw a pair on eBay for like $1,000 and I was like, "WTF?" I googled Samurai and I found an IHF quote (I think it may have been Seul, actually; not positive, though) saying something along the lines of Samurai's being great, but Iron Heart's make you feel complete, or something new age like that.
The rest is history. This is the only forum I have ever been on; I've never even been on Facebook. I don't see the need to include another. I spend too much time in this place, as it is.

Well, yeah . . but it keeps things weird, light, & fun. when he posts as Gile$ it's usually boring product stuff, something about fish or an obscure reference that only 3 people on the forum get & every one else pretends to get . . . .wait a moment some of that is me, hahahahaha
