If you can wear comfortably as they are, in the raw state, I think you should be OK.  But if they are uncomfortably tight before the soak, for sure I'd send em back…

I feel your pain. The 666L were the first IH I bought. Soon realised I was being optimistic about the fit. They are hands down the best looking jean I've ever seen.

14,5oz left hand denim is much more attractive in my eyes.
