First day of my first 2k14 holidays… Call from work...

I got called on my 2nd day for a 1 hour crisis call, thought that was bad. Hope you get penalty rates or something nice. You're a good man Seul!

In all honesty: I only had to "work" from 5.30 pm til 7.45, and my job's a 5 minute walk… I was, however, not able to have my beer at 6 pm 

I will have to make up for that today by drinking two beers

Well, that's not so bad. It's never really that bad after the fact, but when the phone rings, and it's work calling you back in, it's always such a shitty feeling in the moment. Enjoy your beers!

Took me about 3 hours to turn this new windows phone into a fucking brick. God I hate smartphones. Apple had it down until the Micromanager In Chief kicked the bucket. Now the decent phone is an extinct animal.

^Ughh.  Really?  Did it have WP 8.1?  I've been considering leaving the Apple bubble for a Nokia WP.  I am going to wait until they release a successor to the 1020, though.

Oh, wow.  The 1520 is a great looking phone, but I am weary of the size.  That's such a huge leap from the iPhone.  I'm definitely looking forward to your thoughts after a couple weeks of real world usage.

It's HUGE. It is thin though so it doesn't feel too crazy. Trying to ditch the apple iMessage virus now. I can't receive texts, even in response to my texts…

I'm sure a 6" 1080p phone looks amazing when watching video, too. Do you carry it in your back pocket?

Apple's iMessage "virus" should be illegal. I am confident that they could do something about it, but it keeps people from switching, and gets people to come back so why would they?

Did you disable iMessage on an iOS device already? That helps, but doesn't completely solve the problem.

I like that its a real LCD. Its a great screen. I wear it in my back pocket. I've disabled imessage everywhere. So annoying. They call tomorrow morning to hopefully fix it. It does seem illegal. Loving the phone so far. When I get 8.1 I'll be set!

You can fix the bug by switching your text message dial out number… don't remember what it's called but that worked for me... other than that I think you have to wait a few weeks for it to clear

Another call… Holidays are canceled... Collegue's dad died and my boss is sick...
