so true thompsoa, so true. i think 301s fit so many different builds of people so well, with them adding the visible selvedge detail & the different fabrics i can see them doing them every year or so in a different SExIH fabric (like they been doing) & me picking up a pair if the denim looks like it checks enough boxes for me.

My front rise is down to about 9.5" on my 33" pair. Somehow they are still more comfortable than the somewhat low rise of my DC4001. The inseam is about 35".

Taken with an iphone so they're not the best images, the back side is yet to settle down, which of course is normal since this is just the second time I've had them on (did sleep in them, great pajamas). Double cuffed, am yet to get over to Self Edge and have them hemmed. Don't have as much of a twist as Anesthetist. This denim is unreal, if anyone is on the fence, just make the move on these while they're still available. Having the 555-01, 555-02, and 555-03's, I have pieces to compare, and I don't want to say these are better cuz I love the all three of those, but this denim is amazing and the cut is on point. Oh and Im 6'0, 185, if that helps with any decision making.

For those of you guys that purchased these - how did you size?
Also - how much stretch did you guys see in the waist after soak + some period of wear?

How did you mess up the sizing? I feel like I'm right between a 31 and 32…but worried about the waist of the 32 stretching out too much. It's tagged at 33.5". I wonder if after 2 hot soaks and some wear it will settle in around 33.5.

What exactly is the issue? I would see myself in a 34 too and the measurements are similar to the 555 in the same size (in the crucial ares).

I have a 32 in the 555-01 and I bought these in a 33. They shrank (after two soaks) an inch in the waist which measured them out to a 16, when I'm about a 17 inch waist. I got blisters on my thumb and pointer finger buttoning these up the first couple of times, however that was due as much to the shrinkage of the button holes as the actual fit. I've now worn them for 5 straight days and they fit near perfect, so they have stretched a little and will probably stretch a little more. IMO, the fit is perfect. Hope this helps

unfortunately yeap. i got thunder thighs & my pants hang low.
i think it's the way i'm built. now i just need to find denim with looser thighs that do not look sloppy & a smaller leg opening. . . .
The SEXIH22-301 is the way to go. I have huge thighs and my 555-01,555-02,and 555-03's all hang real low cuz of the size of my thighs. These new 301's are perfect, I highly recommend them.
Tried them but they somehow didn't agree with you. I might give them a go again but I'm an inpatient bastard. Jeans don't fit right I'm usually onto the next one pretty quickly. D666 told me give em some time so that's the only reason they still in my foot locker . . .

true, but the difference in all the IHxSE collabo sizes seems to be pretty ongoing. . . but i blame myself for not taking the time to go to the damn store. i just hate to be that guy measuring & trying on 50 different pairs in store when i got sh!t to do. . .but for my haste i end up with a pair of tight a$$ jeans this time & my sexihxls are too big.
think i'm opting out of collaboration denim until i get my sh!t together
my 9301s & 7301s were both 34 so i figured i was safe although SE & IHUK measure a bit different. okay i'm done, i'll maybe post a flick in my too tight jeans but i warn you, it's not going to be pretty, hahahahahaha
oh & i washed them warm like i do all my new joins to get the shrinkage out the way. pre soak it was decent, post soak was yikes tight in the thighs

I have been wearing them everyday since last friday (even slept in them a few times to help the break in process) and they have stretched out .75 inches, so they're at 16.75 inches at the waist, and I'm assuming they will give a little more with some more wear.

Sorry they didn't work out. Mine have since stretched .75 in the waist after less than a week of wear, so they're is some give in these jeans with wear, if your on the edge about them.

Thanks! I just purchased a W32 that hasn't seen that much shrinkage in the waist. Might try to give them another hotsoak before i wear them.
