Have you noticed whether or not they leave marks? Marking soles big the shhh out of me

they mark when you drag your feet or kick things.  if you planning on kicking things they will leave marks where you kicked, if yo drag your feet they leave black marks on the floor.

don't think i actually put what the boots look like now so with out any further ado:

the laces are abit much with the gold colored tops, but i love the way the checkerboards are wearing off & they just look so cool with the boot to me.  maybe will change to some flatwaxed brown laces if i find a pair thick enough.

love the brass speed hooks, really loving these boots right now.

Chippewa 97863 Resole. I removed the celastic to make them a soft toe and replaced old hardware with brass roller buckles.

Chippewa Engineer Boots converted to 40's style by Role Club. These had a steel toe and I relasted the upper and converted them to a flat toe.
