My friend Stephen lived in Sendai at the time, luckily he and his girl were fine but when I spoke to him a few days later he said that if you stood on the roof of his building you could see huge parts of the city were just gone. He moved back to the States three months later.

Bought my first suit today from J. Crew for a wedding!

You had me at Shuttle Looms, J Crew.

Shane in a suit. That I gotta see
Ha. I don't look half bad. Once it's tailored I'll post up a pic.
Here's the suit. He might look better in it than me though.

I will also be dressed for a wedding on Saturday, although my suit is slightly different

In one of my post 5.30 am naps (I have a weird sleeping schedule), I dreamt that Megadome had sent me a message saying he could make it to Belgium this month, asking me whether I had enough money (I assume to go beer hunting)… I remember I immediately wanted to respond to his PM saying I did and when he'd be over...
Then I woke up... The horror!..

I posted an article that talks about that suit a while back: http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424127887324030704578426783401332340?mobile=y

I remember reading that!
From the article:
"It works in so many ways. It's perfect for a wedding.

Nice. Looks like I picked the right suit.
This is hilarious.
"For others, like Theophilus London, a New York-based recording artist whose style has landed him in various fashion magazines, the material is out of the question when it comes to suiting. "I'm more of a classic suit guy," said Mr. London. He added: "Chambray is over."
This assertion made Mr. Bastian laugh. "That's like saying denim is over," he said. "Maybe for him it's over, but these things don't go away." -
Sorry, but I'm not taking fashion advice from a guy who wears trucker caps with suits… (As a quick google search of mr. London revealed)
