Our Cars (dream or actual)

test drove these two babies today
A3 Sportback 2.0TDI DPF Ambition S tronic - 110kw
A5 Coupé 2.0TDI DPF Multitronic - 130kw
the A5 is so much more comfort, power and feels way better when sitting in it and while driving!
think I have to find myself a A5 S-Line now…great great car!finding "the right" car is so fucking difficult though!
and Simon, the Golf R also would be nice...shit is crazy! -
i'd take the a5 over the a3 anytime.
-
hahahaha. might as well the rs5. if you're talking about funds.
-
AN A5 COSTS 35K IN EUROPE?
FECK. I'VE GOTTA COME TO GERMANY
on another note, so what's your final choice??

well not exactly, just this one
if i can trust the sales-person, they were able to buy it for cheap as well. let me see if i can upload the "info chart" of it…final choice? don't have one atm. would love the A5, but wouldn't want to spend that much on it (even it isn't "much" when talking about this particular car). missing some space for the passengers in the back and 5 doors would be a plus as well...hesitating mofo i am, i know -.-

Gotta remember that its Euros Louis. Thats approx $49k US and a whopping $54k CAN lol

well consider that against SGD$271,950 for a 2.0 tfsi a5 in singapore. that'll work out to $271k USD.
http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_listing.php?MOD=audithankfully i'm in perth now and prices for cars aren't that ridiculous and it's about the same as the us or europe. just not within my budget now. haha
-
Thats insane bro. I read an article on buying/owning a car in singapore and the laws/pricing were disgusting. Glad u moved dude lol
-
it's really insane. the govt taxes the cars so much. on top of that i haven't added in costs of owning one. yeah really glad i did. lol.
on the other hand finn, the new c class dont look too shabby at all. might wanna consider perhaps

http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_listing.php?MOD=audidef. will do…and damn, those prices are ridiculous! ???

^ On the surface those prices look ridiculous, but you only see part of the story there. When comparing prices in different countries you need o take into account the average salary and the tax regime. Singapore has a policy of extremely low compulsory taxation and extremely high discretionary taxation. So you get more take home pay to spend on what you choose…..
