I have the same sole on monday's whites on my viberg. Not so good during winter. But I can say that the wedge sole on my RW Moc, I can wear them all season.. snow,wet,muddy and what not and it performed well. Just my 2 cents.

No there are different version of the sole.

I have white "wedge" on my OSB's…..I do not like the look but as has been said loads of times elsewhere, they are supremely comfortable and do what they are designed to do very well.

My dislike is a completely irrational reaction to the ubiquity of them.  But then again I dislike the VVVVVVVVV sole, not even bothered to try and remember what that fecking thing is called , and they are anything but common place.

I understand and respect different likes and dislikes that variations makes a wonderful and colorful place.
Personally the christy and not the ripple sole can be too stiff when worn. And the restrictions to not be able
to flex my feet is not pleasing to me. So, I will not personally have that on any future MTO boots.

As for ripple sole some may associate the look to snickers that they are wearing ever since. Also it does performs as should. They are comfortable as well. But most probably will give a resole when needed with 'proper' sole. Having said that, if I like the design and leather on a boot that comes with ripple sole I may buy it but not the Christy which is on my viberg.

About the only other footwear that I dislike as much are Clark's desert boots and boots with a white wedge sole. I also really dislike moc toes on boots.  Which puts me at odds with about 95% of the folks on this forum and SuFu…
