In need of a smarter boot so any takers on the leffot Icy Boondocker in a different smooth leather, dark Brown/ Merlot ideally. Would get them from them but not a huge fan of customs charges to the UK.

Icy mocha cxl that is sold out at viberg.com, again with dainite soles, with or without a toe cap (haven't decided yet)
Might be interested also with brown wax flesh, again in 2030.
Also, mrman, would you be interested in dark brown calf? That way we'd have three already.
Anyone know if this would be Guidi calfskin now?

Seanocono, btw mate, I thought it was someone else who started this thread. My apologies, kudos to you brother! Great idea, just getting 4 dudes to sing the same song is half the issue though.. But I guess it's all we have. Perhaps it's part of the master plan, get em hooked on crack and they'll be back for more! And the V crack has me fucking addicted! I'm hopeless!!

^No need to apologize, Scotty. I wasn't offended in the slightest. Thanks for the kind words, and I agree with you. It's incredibly difficult to get four people to spec the same build.
It was worth a shot, and I'm glad I tried it. I might not be able to own a Viberg service boot, but because of Giles and Iron Heart I'll at least get to try out the Hiker and the Wild Ones. I'm grateful for that.

the toes not overly aggressive looking like the 310
but not flat and girly either
i think it's vibergs most under used lastIt looks a lot like the 2045 last. 2045 is a slightly adapted (just a little more bump in the toe (from Brett Viberg)) Munson Last. Munson is a very famous military boot last. Thoroughly proven and tested.
Personally, myself I see why it was so popular for Military use having spent 17 years in a specific infantry type role, we/I walked for days on end in boots and I'm not talking fancy hiking boots. The 2045 you could do the same thing.

Unfortunately, the Service Boot in the first pic is Cordovan, so the leather would be different. I am looking into what other options Viberg offers.

The leather in the second pic is Shinki Horse Hide mate. Polishes beautiful! You could spit polish them!
But I've been trying to let them dull a little, confident they'll shine easy if I need to hit the dance floor

When or if this thread closes, I just want to add one thing if anyone wants to msg me. I would love a pair of 10 hole service boots on #8 CXL or Shell on the new revised 2030 (rounder toe) or 2040 lasts. Partially Structured toe on new 2030 or 2040, or unstructured on 2045. Toe cap, natural mid sole Dainite sole. If anyone's keen we can ramp it on Styleforum. Peace out homies!!

I have absolutely nothing against SF group orders, but I find it a bit strange if Viberg will allow SF to still offer 4 people group buys from now on. Especially as Giles has been kind enough to arrange group orders for a lot longer than SF and for a price that is way cheaper for European customers (because of customs/taxes).
