Luggage Bags and Packs

After months of looking, I think I'm settling on Tom Bihn's Brain Bag as my day pack for the next trip.

+divided areas during a day out
+can hold camera & laptop and more on the flight over without missing a beat
+space for a water bottle on the outside (do not like water near electrical stuff)

Giving up on the MF? Or is it the need for more organization?

The MF.haversack is good for local activities, for sure, take it nearly everywhere. I'm heading OS in April for 3 weeks, and need something larger than the haversack, that I can wear around for ~8hrs a day hiking to various things quite fully loaded. The haversack's just not made for that purpose. It'll likely be with me however, and my compliment the BrainBag for quick access..

Cost of shipping to AU > 1/4 of bag cost, as such CBF purchasing any bags and will reuse a Timbuk2 I've got. No need to re-invent things. Less is more or some BS. :).

My Archival Clothing rucksack after about 6-8 months of daily use.  This is what I use to lug books, documents and other junk with me to work each day.  It's simple, functional and I love the design and look of the waxed cotton as it evolves.

Most likely because their customer service SUCKS!!! They do make great rucks though.

Good product is nothing without (at the very least) decent customer service.  Indeed, I would go further than that, imo a restaurant with average food but outstanding service is better than a Michelin starred restaurant with average service.

Couldn't agree more. It goes to the core of human nature beyond the practical aspects of good service.  People like to buy from people whom they like.

Their service isn't as bad as that of Mystery Ranch, which absolutely sucks balls if your trying to buy their packs in the uk!
