It's official! I'm going to play with the SEALs!

The first week of March, I'll be supporting a training exercise for 7 days in the field with the SEALs. I'll be training the food service contractors, "spending some time on the range and other fun stuff" (whatever that means!?), and learning about foreign intelligence. They'll provide all of my uniforms pictured below; US NAVY NWU Type III's.

I was told by my contact that the only thing I need to bring is my boots. I told him that it wouldn't be a problem because I already have boots. I just looked up the regulations (and the pictures) and I have the wrong color. D'oh!

Facebook has made a video feature for every user as part of their 10 year celebrations, I took a look at mine and saw some familiar faces included as part of MY video, Mr Urbanwoodsman, Mr Landocal and Mr Hectic. I spend too much time on the interwebz
