There is no Gustin thread yet in Other brands, so I'll put this post here for now. Anyone else try out their jeans yet?

Just arrived today:
Gustin, #82 American Sixteener
Cone Mills USA Selvedge, 16.5oz, Orange ID

Nice details: sewn-in belt loops, half lined back pockets, custom white washed buttons, selvedge fly, made in San Francisco, super value ($96 shipped).

They look really nice.  I dig the orange ID and the bright ass chain stiched hem.

Those do look good. I was looking at Gustin the other day. How long did it take to get them after the order closed?

They take about 6 - 8 weeks from time of order. They run "campaigns" to back a certain model, then they manufacture and ship after the campaign is funded, so there's no stock on hand to ship immediately.

Yeah, the yellow/orange selvedge is nice. Thanks.

I had some Raleigh's in 13.5 oz. US cone denim, so I was really curious about a darker 16.5 oz US cone denim.

British, yes.  Innovative, I think so.  I love (really love) how they market themselves.  I love the ridiculousness that each model is named after a guitar hero…..I am a sucker for this type of kookiness....
