Mine is about the same at around 6.5 - 6.8 depending on the temp but I like mine even though it fits loose. It will fall around my forearm if I raise my arm but it doesn't bother me.

Looking for some opinions: I have tiny wrists (~6.5 inches with the tape pulled tight). Am I wrong to think that this would be way to loose on my wrist at 8 inches?

        Thanks for the input!

I just cleaned mine to get it back to 'new' so I can work on my own patina, seeing as it's pre-loved. I was dubious but the aluminium foil, sodium bicarbonate and salt in boiling water worked a treat. Better than the Hagerty silver dip I also tried.

Yes. The piece must be in contact with the alumin(i)um.

"Aluminum is often confused with tin, such as tin foil etc. Aluminum has replaced tin in industrial applications, such as for cans. Tin is considered to be toxic to humans, and so is aluminum, but not inherently toxic. It is believed that if they are both absorbed or inhaled by some humans, they can pose an ingestion risk, while aluminum is considered to be related with Alzheimer’s disease.
