I wanna hear all about your winter sports adventures ie skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice climbing, sledding.  We can discuss gear, mountains, trails, conditions etc…

This does not mean I wanna see photos of you writing your name in the snow. Although if would be quote amusing.

@twin I have been skiing so much. I have no time for hiking. Sad but, true. We will hike beginning of March. I am really looking forward to it. If you are up for skiing let me know. Will take you up on that offer in a second.

I'm in MN waiting for this lovely deep freeze to warm up some so I can finish working on my van.  As soon as that's done I'll be heading to Montana for a few weeks to ski it up, hoping to get some good snow at some point

Agreed. My firm shut down its offices both today and Monday. I'm like, "we're in Minnesota in winter. How is cold weather a surprise?" Of course I just threw on some Iron Heart and went about my day…

They has delayed openings at local schools yesterday because of the cold. 0 degrees F. I have never heard of such a thing.

Probably the best boards on the market. Ohio, but I'm considering  a life change closer to mountains. I know people that live in silverton, so I have been hip to venture for awhile.

You couldn't go wrong if your life change took you closer to silverton. Such a cool mountain with some of the burliest terrain going. As a person who used to live in toronto and has been living in the mountains for about 5 years now I can wholeheartedly recommend it as one of the best lifestyle changes you'll ever make.
