Oak Street Bootmakers

Ohighyo, they look sweet too mate. They darken nicely. It's natural CXL isn't it?
-
Sick ones there Fergz! Rock on!
Thanks Scotty…very comfortable boots. Stiff, or course, but no pain whatsoever.
-
Cool to see some fit pics Fergz after some wear.
-
Plan on giving these lots of wear and will certainly oblige Scotty.

damn i need some roughouts. those are so nice.

It nice to see more pics of them Fergz. You know, I like the shape of them more seeing your pics. What size do you wear? Did you do the Brannock device method and run with that size?
-
Will try post a few shots more later. I went 9.5US and they fit perfectly. Usually, with generic brand shoes, my size would be 9UK, 10US or 43EUR. OSB refer to the Brannock as the benchmark so I used the chart at the link below. Not to be too unscientific about it but I basically measured my foot with some tape and referred to the relevant sizing chart below and it worked out perfectly. I didn't allow for any margin of error. It was basically foot measurement in inches equalling what the brannock said. OSB recommend a snug fit but this is probably good sizing practice anyway. I don't have anything else to refer to Viberg/Alden/Red Wing wise as I'm popping a footwear cherry with the rough outs. Hope that helps….nothing worse than ordering boots or shoes online (and spending a good bit of lolly) to find they don't fit!

Awesome mate! Thanks for being so helpful. The extra photos look good. I like that they are made with a full Dainite sole. Great touch! Might try your measure method too. But I did get a brannock measure. Took a photo at the same time of both feet as my left was a tad longer.
Thanks again amigo!

No problem Scotty. No harm in being sure so I'd definitely get the tape measure out and remember you're just measuringyyour foot so no need to be factoring in anything else. Give Tony a shout at OSB too. He's succinct, to the point but very helpful.
Gimme a shout if I can be of any further help. Oh, watch out for customs charges if you do decide to order. Tony will help to mitigate any costs too.

Yeah mate, no worries. To be honest I'm still weighing it up. Plus falling for engineers in the mix. I'm hopeless! Hahaa!!.
Customs in oz you pay them if value is over $1000au. So generally it's ok. Well.. If your not on a spending bender that is!! Hahaa. Take it easy mate.
