Still putting together my list of albums of the year, but this one is on it. I massacred he bejesus out of the jewel case opening it. My Ohta damn near cut through the whole cover cutting off the cellophane.  The second disc was so hard to get out I nearly snapped it in two. I guess I forgot how to CD.

A tip for opening cd's with the cellophane on the spine, which can be a pain to open, just grab the cd like you are opening it as usual and slowly put pressure to open and it will rip open the cellophane. Then you can peel off the plastic easily.

Just saw that one of the New Orleans bands I really love is opening for Clutch. Mike Dillon is a percussionist with a total punk rock ethos. These guys are such a trip. Lots of time changes, lots of fun.

The venue they showed them playing is one of my favorites in New Orleans and by far the best in the French quarter. An old burlesque joint called one eyed jacks.
