Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

The action he is putting on his open looks extremely violent to me. If it's designed for that, well and good, but that would definitely be a terrible way to open a Sebbie.
-
Hopefully the same warranty applies. You may pay for it, but no matter how you abuse a Sebbie opening it he will fix it. Somehow people misinterpret that warranty as "zOMGz Chris Reeve tries to tell you how to open your knife, you'll void your warranty if you flick it open!!!"

Ohta o(ug)hta get here tomorrow

^I'm looking forward to pics. I'm really digging the Ohta carbon fiber models I've seen.

Has exclusivity to the Ohta 20th Century friction folder I own. It's my favorite knife by my favorite designer by my favorite distributor. Vince is such a great guy and their customer service will be what you are accustomed to. -

My Ohta was spOhta arrive today. What am I paying you UPS assholes for anyway?
-
That sucks… The knives I received today were 2 days late and I have another order from a different dealer I'm still waiting on. I'm just chalking it up to the uber amount of Black Friday orders... hope it shows up soon... cheers
-
Thanks. I suspect the blizzard up here may be partially to blame as well.

This thing is great. Really enjoying the Aogami steel, holds a killer edge. The grind on the thing is beautiful too.
Perfect ergonomic slope on the blade and handle. Despite it's tiny size, great and secure in the hand.
Notched backspacer and scales to secure the tang when the blade is deployed.
As I hope is evident in the pictures, immaculate fit and finish.
I am tickled pink with this blade in every way. Well worth the asking price.
One more of the beauty:

Really fun blade to work with. Made quick work of Brussels sprouts even being small. The ergonomics of the thing are so perfect. Excellent EDC. The blade is extremely sharp and holds its edge supremely well.
A lot of abuse and still sharp as heck.
Detail of the nioi line indicating a true hamon. And just being pretty in general.

Ok so I've been getting used to the Ti-Lock and boy oh boy do I love this knife… So much that the Sebenza actually might become my back-up knife... Either way, no more need for this beauty, the Spyderco Caly3 Superblue Sprint Run... If you're interested, make me an offer...
I treated it with vinegar so to create some patina to protect the SB steel... There are one or two spots on the knife that you might have to clean with some sandpaper... Still has a very nice edge, actual use was minimal...
