Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

Doug, I strongly suspect you are correct with that statement.
I had to reign myself back from getting a bit silly, Sebenza's and Hinderer's were starting to get "googled" a bit too frequently.
Looking forward to receiving the Sage 3, positive reviews all round and should be a good tool.
Feeling a bit guilty at buying an expensive knife for cuting up Oranges at work during break times!

Nice dd! My first Spydie was in the early 90s. I remember seeing Cliffhanger in the theater and seeing Stallone whip out the exact model I had and stab someone with it. I only have one in the collection currently, as that one is long lost, but it sure did serve me well. Love my remaining Spydie. Looking to replace its G10 scales with ironwood.

Very happy for you Seul!!! Have you already ordered the Ti-Lock? If not, I see some new IH/Beer in your not so distant future.
-
Please give the Ti-Lock the love it deserves this time!
Congrats Bagz, glad you got your knife back!

Love how Japanese this Ohta friction folder is. Hamon line? Ironwood? Carbon fiber backspacer? Immaculate construction? Killer pocket sheath? Yes please. My next compact EDC. This was something I have looked at for a while but for some reason was too dumb to cop, even at its very fair asking price. Really glad the universe kept her in place for me.
Please send a link to the manufacturer or the retailer's web site for this absolute beauty

Hiroaki Ohta. If you google this term it will show you his personal page as well as the many retailers online who sell his wares.
Enjoy! They shipped it yesterday I am anxiously awaiting this piece.
-
Ohta is top notch, you will not be disappointed, I have not handled another knife that has a better fit & finish.
-
Congrats Seul, that knife is hard to put down for sure.

I haven't seen the video, but wrist-flicking can fuck up a knife. If Chris Reeve receives one for maintenance and sees signs of it he will replace the affected parts and charge you for it.

How to clean a Sebenza
If you run into a problem and just can’t get it back together, please feel free to put everything into a baggie and send it back to us. We will be more than happy to assemble the knife for you! Please note that excessive flicking of the blade will also produce a rough action. Continuous wrist flicking will eventually damage the lock because the stop pin and back of the blade are not designed for that sort of continual shock.
