Well, after 6 months of planning, waiting construction, hassle, more waiting, more hassle, take-out, no plumbing, construction, and more take-out, we finally have a new kitchen! (We also re-shingled our roof)

Here are some pics of all of that!

We thought we were keeping the old cabinets when we started the project so we installed undercab lighting. It ultimately had to removed and reinstalled in the new cabinets.



Our temporary kitchen while we waited for the new cabinets to be delivered. This took about 4 weeks.

My contractor wanted $2K plus materials to tile the backsplash. No thanks. I'll do it myself. So I did

Well, it's been a busy (and expensive) week but we've gotten a lot done.  We're getting both bathrooms tiled and the paint crew is wrapping up today:

Seawolf & Clint_D, wow! Amazing renovations! That's some pretty hardcore and sweet changes. Great job guys.

Yes.  This is absolutely true.  I'd want to sub in an Eames lounge chair and ottoman, but otherwise it's pretty perfect.

I have clutter. It's just not migrated from the garage to the living room yet.

Chris, the Eames Lounger is nice, but I find them a touch small, even in the upsized version.
