The site says dirt denim is sanforized:

"This is a sanforised jean. The process of sanforising denim is designed to remove all of the shrink from it, and take away the guess work of the wearer when purchasing denim. Sanforised denim can be worn straight from the package."

Pretty sure that's a mistake. I have serious leg twist on my pair. I have also gone back and forth with the designer a little, Masaki Egawa, and what I discerned from the conversation is that the dirt denim is loomstate (kibata) denim that is one washed. The garage denim is the same denim as the dirt denim, but its raw.

Then they may have two mistakes: "Garage Denim is the dynamic opposite to Dirt Denim, it is raw, it is smooth, and where Dirt Denim has a rough surface but is light and soft in motion, Garage Denim is flat and hard."

Just pulled 'm out of the washer: serious leg twist has indeed occurred… Now drying...

Did you put them in the dryer or rack dry? Do you mind taking post wash measurements? Thanks Seul, it's gonna be these or 666-19L for my next pair. Yes I also realize they are completely different

Hung 'm to dry above one of my heaters… I won't do post-wash measurements as I suck at measuring... And this is too important... I'll try and take some fitpics tomorrow, though...

If you want a slim fit, I'd go with the 666 19oz LHTs though...

Me too… And I'm glad I did.. Wanted a relaxed pair of jeans and have exactly that, but the texture of the denim is overwhelmingly cooler than I had expected...

Thanks lads. I still of course prefer the fit of my XHS'es but I worked in these today and I absolutely love 'm now that they've shrunk a bit…

Sorry for the dark low quality pics but it's late. I must have been the last stop on my UPS guys route! I like the fit but I'm not sure about the length. When I ordered them I went with a 34 due to the 34" inseam which after I ordered the sizing table changed showing the 34 waist having a 33.5" inseam. Oh well! Let me know what you guys think. The denim on these is intense!

Mine measured just between 34 and 33.5"… But it looks like the perfect length from what I can tell...
