That's a terrible police car.  I can't imagine they're very reliable, and who's going to do a PIT maneuver in Lambo?

      Think it, be it.

        So many dreams…..so little money.

I would love an old 30s model A, chopped up and laid out. Sometimes I like the really extreme bagged versions, sometimes I'm more into the classic rods that look like they were done up in the 50s.

I'm also a sucker for the early 1950s 'lead sled' style. Again....much more into the ratrod driven look than the chromed to all hell trailer queen look.

Moving on through history...I think everyone dreams about 69 chargers and 69 chevelles (and I do as well), but I really love the 69 Nova. It just looks mean.

When it comes to the 80s, nothing beats a 1988 E30 M3. Yes please.

I can't think of what I like from the 90s....but I'm sure there's some stuff.

from the 00s....I love the Audi R8. Sure, it's not as flashy as some other supercars, but its got a reserved sleeper quality that I love.

I used to own a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with 5 inches of lift an 33" tires. That was a fun toy. Totally impractical and a piece of shit....but I learned a lot keeping it on the road. I miss it.

I'm a month away from graduation and my first car is gonna have to be 'practical' since I'll probably have kids before I get another new car.....right now I'm thinking of the 5-door Subaru WRX....but we shall see.

Once we get a house....I'm gonna be claiming a workshop for a project on wheels. Chances are its gonna be a bike first.....but someday I will own a ratrod.

Lambos in Italy aye but that can't be too many  😉

If I remember correctly, they only had two, and they were used mostly for organ transfer and an occasional emergency.  They also serve as the model for one of the coolest Lego sets ever.

New family car arrived last week.  Got rid of my Audi RS4 ( sad to see it go, a fun and robust car ) and picked up a new Alpina XD3.

The XD3 is based on the BMW X3 330D M sport car.  Alpina have added there own suspension system, engine mounts, air intake ducting and hand built 330D straight six diesel engine, titanium Akrapovic full exhaust system,  plus some styling additions inside and out.

Impressive so far, 350 bhp, 700Nm Torque, and 44 mpg.  Comfy ride, practical and can go like stink if you floor it.  Only 13 of them in the UK to date.

This was not really my choice but a reasonable compromise between myself and mrs Trash.  She is very keen on it and I made the political masterstroke of putting her private licence plate on it ( still waiting to go on ) which of course leaves my private plate to go onto something a bit more interesting at a later date.

The dream car would be a GT-R.  😘 Below is my current car that I bought new back in 2008. Nissan Altima Coupe. Unfortunately, a teenage driver caused me to get into an accident this past Saturday when I was heading to work. Neck and right side of my jaw is sore. But at least she got a ticket and my car insurance will handle all the dirty work of getting my car fixed.

Twenty years ago I lusted after the VW Golf G60 and Lancia Delta HF Integrale, but 'made do' with an 8v mkII Golf Gti.

Eight years ago I bought a 2003 Mini Cooper S and changed the heavy wheels and awful run-flat tyres to make it the car it should have been from the start. Now that I finally own a small supercharged car, I'll probably keep it until internal combustion engines are outlawed.

There's little else that tickles my fancy and would suit my driving style on London's crappy roads and idiotic speed humps. However, in terms of exterior design, this modified Alfa Romeo mk1 1750 GTV is one of the most gorgeous looking cars I've ever seen:

The new Jaguar F Type coupe is also a beauty:

^ I owned a grey G60 Edition 1 about 12yrs ago, and I wish I'd kept it, one of the best cars I've owned! I had it modified to Stage 2 by Jabbasport, (smaller pulley, different chip), and it was putting out around 220bhp, and made that amazing noise you only get from supercharged engines 🙂

Considered getting the supercharged Mini Cooper S as a more modern interpretation, but never did…...but now you've got me thinking!

^ I loved my Golf Gti but I prefer my Mini Cooper S because the handling is more kart-like. The steering on the first generation supercharged version is so quick and accurate. The gear shift is great too - it has a very mechanical feel to it and makes lovely noises too. Passengers unfamiliar with the car often ask me if there is something wrong with it because they hear strange metallic clicking noises when I change gear, especially with the windows down.

Considering it's so cheap to do, and such an easy way to extract extra power, it's ridiculous that I still haven't got around to having a smaller pulley fitted.

If you ever do try a Cooper S with 17" wheels and run-flat tyres, bear in mind that the harsh ride and twitchy, camber-hunting behaviour completely disappears when the wheels are changed to light weight 16" wheels and normal tyres with a sensible profile.

I had 2 older Porsches, but had to sell them to open a shop. The plan is to buy another 911 when funds allow and build it up to my liking.
