23oz is the tightest weave, used on some Self Edge collabs. The 25oz gets quite soft, quite quickly, that would be my recommendation.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

18 oz should suffice as well.

Just to add another option: The 19oz LHT is fairly windproof as well.

            Thanks guys.

I think the TW-666N 17oz will probably be my first Works Inc trousers but having some extra warm ones too would be nice.

Forum members seem to think the 18 oz is warmer than the more breathable 21 oz.

                        Yup, 18 warmer than 21.

Seul, after literally a whole minute of looking, I can't find it. If you haven't already, probably your best bet is to send an email to SelfEdge.

This was just to show that the Trophy jeans I ordered are about the same in the leg but have a slightly higher rise than the SEXIH07 models…

All in all pretty excellent  🙂

So I'm pretty ignorant about boots and shoes. My nicest pair are some Allen Edmonds brogues. I wonder if someone could shed some light for me about prices. Why, for example, are most Vibergs $150-$300 more than say Alden's boots? Alden is similarly a historic company who makes top notch stuff. Is it just that Viberg is smaller? $500 for a pair a boots is a lot, but it's worth it for quality make, like Alden. I just wonder what justifies coming close to a grand? I'm asking this excluding collabs since I suspect those are pricier for obvious reasons.

I know there are a ton of factors that go into determining the retail cost of a boot,  I'm just curious to know why I should buy the more expensive over the slightly less? (Setting aside aesthetic differences, I'm talking quality, materials, etc, not one style as opposed to another). Ready…go! I'm ready to be schooled.

Well this was my assumption. I'm not saying. Viberg workboot isn't worth $800, I'm just trying to understand if it's worth it FOR ME. I'm in the market for a work boot and have listed after the Alden 405 many a moon. Might just go that route.

I'd take a look at a pair of each if possible. Alden is nice. Peal & Co and Lobb are also, for that classy Cordovan workboot.
