Have successfully ended my second company slightly net positive. Kids these days are all about failing and blowing through the cash, fail early is the expression. Slight net positive and gracefully ending the company is far more rewarding; like landing the plane instead of crashing it. I've been working full time for a company for over 6 months, it's taken this long to wrap up all the loose ends of the prior venture. Woo hoo!

So I don't have 20 posts yet…and I don't really know where to put this...but is there any central location that lists the characteristics of the extant denim strands? I've been lurking for a week or so, so I've picked up some bits of information like "the 25oz is really tough" and "the 21oz breathes really well" but is there a thread/page somewhere that outlines the different denims?

No, but there possibly should be. Of course it is all open to opinions and personal experience, I was never super impressed with the 18oz raw but some people think it's IH's best denim to date. Horses for courses I guess.

Maybe its the user experience designer in me, but I see a page with snapshots of each denim up close (maybe each side) and one of the cuff. That would allow for quick comparison in terms of color/weave/etc. Then you could have additional snippets of information about each denim (of course the basic weight/sanforized/weave/etc) but also the more 'qualitative' properties of each one that a seasoned IH patron might understand, but a neophyte like myself might have trouble with.
Just my ramblings on a Monday morning…
[EDIT] maybe I'll do some more research on it and throw something together myself. It would get me more familiar with the denim, and would be a fun little side project.

So, the accommodation hunting is going slightly better than the job hunting… Looked at two places locally today. The first was a very nice flat right in the centre of town (town has two main streets which the incredibly imaginative locals always refer to as... Top Street and Bottom Street, because Princess Street and King Street are too difficult). Only snag is that it would cost 3/4 of my current monthly wage to rent and then I've got to buy food as well... The second was £100 per month cheaper (and closer to my current place of work) but unfurnished... And I don't really want to get a load of furniture if it's only going to be temporary (because aside from my future finances, I could very cheerfully walk out of my job tomorrow).
So I'm looking further afield. Which brings into play a not very funny catch 22 situation. I can't really afford to rent anywhere for more than 2-3 months tops without a job. But none of the jobs I've applied for around the country have got past the application stage. Due in large part to the fact I don't live in the area...
Oh well still got 13 days before I have to move out :-\

Thanks MC!! He is tearing it up!! Super cool shit!!! I come from a long line of football dominators on my dads side, lol! undortunalty the higher ups only made me out to be 5'8" and gave me my mothers genetics!!
