Cards have better starting pitching.  Sox have the better bullpen.  I still stay Red Sox in 6 or 7 only because they have home field advantage

The best two teams made it to the WS. That's fairly rare. Should be a great series.

The NL Wild Card game is tonight.

However, Houston wins the World Series this year.  I'm rooting for them just because of 1980.
If anyone is interested, google 1980 National League Championship Series.  It was crazy.

It is.  Dbacks havent made the playoffs since 11 I think??  Would be nice to see us make it through.

Speaking of great series', Dbacks/Yankees 2001 world series was one of the best World Series ever played IMO.  Easily in the top 5.

I’d like to see the Diamondbacks in the WS and hey, I was cheering for them over the God damned Yankees in 2001. I liked Gonzalez’s hit and talked to him briefly at a bar in Citizens’ Bank Park. He thought I was nuts.

Yes sir, born and raised.  Phoenix in June would not be on the top of my list of places to travel, the heat is just plain stupid some times as you know.  It is a dry heat most of the time but when the humidity rises it's downright miserable.

My ex ran into Gonzo with my daughter at a Hannah Montana concert of all places believe it or not.  She got her pic with him, said he was super cool.  Pretty sure this is the first time Hannah Montana has ever been mentioned on this forum.
