Quick pitstop @work… 2x Rochefort 10, 2x La Trappe Quadrupel. 7 €. All whilst a Quad is warming up to its right temp under Sir Wontonton 's careful watch!..

No geuze for now… Let them perdy bottles rest... You can see the residue at the belly of the bottle here...

Kona Coffee Imperial Stout. Very smooth and easy drinking despite the alcohol content.

Weirdly Anaesthetist, I had one of those at an ale festival I wandered into last night. I thought it was quite good to be honest.

good enough to let you forget some parts of an evening 😉

seriously though, it tastes pretty good (nothing as good as the boyz from belgium deliver!) 😉

You had a geuze earlier today… You shouldn't have chosen the La Trappe... I don't eat spicy or otherwise tastebud-numbing foods before or during drinking beer, carefully plan when I brush my teeth, and sometimes even plan me wine accordingly...

Seul, I'm drinking it with a selection of English cheeses and it is a perfect accompaniment.

Cheese is one thing that England does really well, not sure how well it would travel but I'm game to mail you some.
