Looks like persimmon dye?
I don't like buckle backs but as far as those go I thought Roy's construction and integration into the yoke was better than two contact points on the back as every other one seems to be constructed. Seemed like it would actually be functional.

Tried to order these directly from Lua Shop few months ago - they won't ship overseas.
Tried to order these through proxy - they don't like to ship to corporate (SuToCorp)

its hard to understand the translation is allways a little confusing -

I just purchased a pair of S5000vx 25oz, as my first Samurai. The denim feels really nice and it´s the darkest i've seen for a while (similar to Flat head 14,5oz). It dosnt feel as heavy and brutal as IH 25oz, and as i doscovered af few ours later it really isn't. I even used the smaller silhuette 666 25oz to compare with - Less fabric dispite the much higher rise.
Weight was :
Samurai S5000vx 25 oz = 1.252 kg
IH 666 25 oz = 1.408 kgIf the IH 25 oz really is 25oz and i believe it is, This Samurai must be 22/23 oz.
Damn i feel like a geek now…......so not rock'n roll.

Had correspondence with MR. BiG last night.
Per Gordon: the hawk series has been confirmed in the 17 oz. zero denim, will also be produced in either the 15, 21, or 25 oz. all in the 710 cut and hope to have them produced by spring of 2014.

After seeing these hidden arcs on eBay. I have samurai fever. How to I know if the jeans I'm shopping for have these hidden arcs ?
