I didn't like the vibe there much when I visited. Self Edge has always been awesome with my online orders. I'm just referring to being in the store itself (I've been to NY and SF). This is not meant to provoke anything simply a reflection of my own experience.

Any anyways, Chris, I only learned about the world of raw denim last August, so wasn't really much in the loop at the time. Brah.

Giles and Paula came to a party at Self Edge LA in June of 2011, then to the party at SENY last October.  Megatron is planning a party in August 2014 in NYC.  Based on that pattern, you shouldn't have to wait long for a drunken denim nerd party in the US.  Brah.
