IHSH-87 - Extra Heavy Western Flannel
-
Very true Super but a lil more consistency will break less hearts. I dont have the luxury of deciding between 2 sizes. I only get "it works" or "cant get it". Some XXXL's are 24.8" chest and fit great, theres even some above 25"(awesome). Arm length i find is usually kinda long on the shirts that G specs and thats ok but the others especially 72,86 and 87 they happen to jussssst work. If they shrink then i look like a dork lol.

The sleeve length in these is perfect for me. I'm 6'2" and 25,5-26" is just about right. Of course, if you're tall and skinny you might be in trouble, but considering that big boned small guys might wear the same size, I think IH always hits the optimum in sleeve size. Especially compared to other japanese brands, where sleeves above 25" are a rarity.

I agree that there is no pleasing everyone. At 6'6" with a finger to finger wingspan of 7 foot I have long arms, that might be an understatement even. I was simply stating that I stumbled on to IH clothing line because it worked for tall dudes like me with long arms and legs. Like a "praying mantis" as someone stated. Even sleeves that are 26" long are somewhat short on me but when it's less than that it's like a 3/4 sleeve shirt. I've talked in PM. A number of times with Giles about it. He knows I appreciate what does work and understand that 99% of the people aren't built like me and that they have target the market that will sell most. Just from my perspective it's very frustrating to find ANY clothes that work unless I get things bespoke. I'm just like you guys in that I get excited about certain releases and yeah it's a bummer sometimes to see the sizing and realize it ain't happening, and more often than not (with EVERY COMPANY) Same goes for jeans etc etc etc. it's not very easy to try to dress decent when your my size, a great looking shirt doesn't look do great when the fit is sloppy… Add in the fact that I'm also very slim it complicates things even more... But not really anything I can change except wait for what does work. Anyway.... Congrats to those that grabbed these.

That's the shirt length, sorry I must have misunderstood you or vice versa… I'm talking about, and my post stated, sleeve length here, I have an average length torso do that's never the issue it's sleeves buddy
Maybe I should just look into propositioning G & co to do custom tailoring for me for a nominal fee. :p

Ahh my bad. I'm talking about lengths in general so when I said 25.6" and 29.5" I assumed you knew I was talking about the sleeve and overall length respectively…
-
No worries. 29.5 overall=great… 25.6=

I am–I spent a good part of today tracking down stockists--but I am certainly not a medium. I was just commenting on how, last I checked, there were still a few left in that size.
(By the way, thanks to all those who entertained my emails today.

Nice man! Throw up some fit pics when you got it! There can never be enough…

Well I am a Medium in just about all IHSH. Medium in this one fits almost the same as the old classics. Absolutely perfect. Also picked up a large 87 and its just a bit bigger than the Med. Could easily rock either out, but prefer the Medium.
