Brawny Man got it goin on. In one version he has on an IHSH-51 and in another an IHSH-49.
Now I understand the Burly-Episode of the Simpsons. Thank you. And I think I will never own a Roy product, even if they look like they're made with huge craftmanship. Especially in jeans my first and main attention is drawn to the fabric - and when I see Cone, I'm out. Wether they're loomstate or not - i simply find it boring. And as long as there are japanese fabrics available for a cheaper or equal price, I'll get those.

This entirely, the fabric has to be interesting which is why I think it's great that IH are developing new denims rather than new cuts.
Anything with a 14oz cone mills, kaihara or kuroki stock fabric just doesn't cut it for me, it's why I find so many of these kick starter brands so dull. Give me innovation or give me death

Just to quantify my last statement, obviously I don't mean that the fabric is more important than the craft. I need interesting fabric and top quality manufacturing to get me interested these days.

Totally agree on the kickstarter brands using Cone Mills denim and innovative pocket designs.

Also agree. For curiosities sake though… Does anyone know why Roy does not journey outside of Cone?

He did before (Japanese, Nihon Menpu) but now he has the rare opportunity to develop his own stuff directly with Cone.

Ahh… I see thank bF I did not realize that, I'm not well versed in ROY, while it's attention to detail is great, like MP stated, the Roy I have seen are just kind of boring

i have a few & as i tend to see it more and more I guess it's popular now, so with out further ado, my un-popular takes for the day:
folks that post on forums under several different names are weird & annoy me . . . i know it shouldn't but it does & as i go back & realize the folks that do it makes it even worse & harder for me to take.
folks that make thinly veiled sly comments also annoy me especially when they talk a bunch of sh!t in the public forum & then send PMs like all is good right or you know what i meant. it's one of the reasons my crabby a$$ may not be "friends" with MikeC, but at least i can respect what he says out here as he'll say the same to me while talking to me man-to-man.
folks that do not value other people's opinion & say things like oh that's stupid or a waste of a conversation, but their comments should be listened to. get the f^ck out of here it's a public forum, if it's a waste of a conversation or silly then don't add your two cents. nothing funnier than i can care either way, but here is what i think. get the f^ck out of here. if you can care either way, then SHUT THE F^CK UP.
