I might share the conversation, but it's in german. So far it was friendly but he showed me the red card by his behaviour. Curious to see how it goes from here. Another guy blamed me for not sending his stuff - I checked tracking and he didn't pick it up in 10 days. I hate when they make me seem like a scam… I'm done with ebay, I think. No buyer's ethic there.

Wrong place for this really, but I have some eBay related humble pie to eat.

I bought a vintage Brooks leather jacket from a dude in Michigan, it arrives and I find that one of the size adjuster buckles is missing and the straps are just hanging.

So I message him about my disgust, what a massive error not to mention in the listing, obviously I'm not happy and I want my money back etc….

Message comes back less than an hour later simply saying "Apologies for the inconvenience, I have been busy and must have made a mistake. Please keep the jacket and I have sent you a full refund of all your charges."

Feeling slightly less misanthropic now.

Left at the front door? That's nothing. I ordered a record (as an investment). One week… nothing. Two weeks... nothing, starting to get irritated decided that I'll send an shout-y email on the Monday. Sunday, get back from work and there's a mud encrusted cardboard box on the table. Turns out that some ****  had left it under the front door mat!! and two housemates had unwittingly been treading on it for at least a week...

I was not happy.
