By mistake, I allowed tapatalk to "upgrade" today. Holy crap, the new version is awful. I need to do some research and see if I can go back to the older, non-shitty version.

Uninstall the craptacular new version, then go here to download the classic version. You'll have to change your default Android settings to allow non-Play Store programs to install, but the whole process only took about 5 minutes for me. Totally worth it.

I sold my old Race Face Mountainbike Jacket at ebay…now the buyer claims, it's a women's jacket, because the zipper is on the left.
I sent him good arguments that prove him wrong, but from my experience with ebay and paypal I can already see how this is going to end. The seller is always wrong, no matter ho stupid the arguments are. -
The next time…I tried to be polite at first (yet not giving in a bite and baring my teeth a bit)... Curious to see how this goes on.

I had a guy who I sold a book to message me this morning moaning on about how he'd not received it, how he wanted a refund, how bad my communication had been etc…. A quick check on the tracking (which he had) revealed that it has been at his local post office for almost a week waiting for him to collect it.
My reply was less than polite, have given up on eBay etiquette.

And he replied…last friendly answer from me...He pulled out his academic graduation. Doesn't impress me much, but tells a lot about the person. So I gave him mine as well.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull rank on you, I really didn't want to have to do this. I have a third grade education and I can write my name in cursive. I can also count to 100.

I might share the conversation, but it's in german. So far it was friendly but he showed me the red card by his behaviour. Curious to see how it goes from here. Another guy blamed me for not sending his stuff - I checked tracking and he didn't pick it up in 10 days. I hate when they make me seem like a scam… I'm done with ebay, I think. No buyer's ethic there.

I used to really care and protect my 100% feedback, but so many assholes out there have resulted in 2 negatives and 1 neutral in the last month.

At least i got now the confirmation by the manufacturer, that it is a men's jacket. that should be the end of it.

Wrong place for this really, but I have some eBay related humble pie to eat.
I bought a vintage Brooks leather jacket from a dude in Michigan, it arrives and I find that one of the size adjuster buckles is missing and the straps are just hanging.
So I message him about my disgust, what a massive error not to mention in the listing, obviously I'm not happy and I want my money back etc….
Message comes back less than an hour later simply saying "Apologies for the inconvenience, I have been busy and must have made a mistake. Please keep the jacket and I have sent you a full refund of all your charges."
Feeling slightly less misanthropic now.
