This beer bar back home used to do Grateful Dead Guy night. Hippie music and $9 pitchers of Rogue Dead Guy. I rarely missed a night of that.

      Think it, be it.

Have you had any of the other greenflash stuff mclain?  It's about to start getting distributed in my area, and I know next to nothing about the brewery…

I'm a hop head and have never had the luxury of GF locally, so it has always been West Coast IPA.

My guess is that they handle other styles well but I don't know, and won't find out any time soon. More than happy to ship you a preview pack if you PM me your address; they had I think an imperial stout and other stuff at the store. I'm shipping ciders to D soon so it would be no trouble.

          Think it, be it.

I've been to the GF brewery in Diego.  It's in a very unassuming corporate office building.  Stone's brewery in Escondido is a much better visit.  In regards to GF, I hope like you hops.  Lots and lots of hops.

It's kind of cool to see Stone and GF getting some love on here, though.  They were two of my favorite breweries when I lived in SD, years ago.

Yeah Sean been wanting to go to Stones for awhile. They have food right?

You are correct, sir. Bar food, but it's actually not half bad– at least when I used to go.

My recommendation is to get drunk at Stone, eat enough food to hold you over, and then go have dinner at Tango. It's a little gem of a restaurant in Escondido.

Thanks for the offer mclain, much appreciated, but I'll actually be trying some of the GF stuff soon.  Got a tasting coming up at my local store.  Looking forward to trying it…

I've heard awesome things about Stone's brewery.  I'd love to get out there at some point...

But first… Hoegaarden Grand Cru... I did not have high expectations of it, and it defo wasn't on any priority list, but I thought to myself "Seul, don't be so closeminded, you eejit!.. Come on!.. Grab a bottle!.. ATTA BOY!.." And hey: it's not bad at all!.. Nothing crazy, but a solid beer!..

Sick glass, Adam!.. And very nice, Rafa!..  🙂

Yesterday I had the Vin de Céréale 2004. It was borderline between expired and drinkable… Too bad!..

If I recall so correctly, Geers has Brewdog urm… brews. Which one should I try bearing in mind I prefer mildly sweet, very strong dark ales...
