So you got a 5s snowy?
I'm pretty much on a 4, 5, 6 etc. upgrade schedule. More fun to me that wayI do. I do the 's' releases for the same reasons

One thing in there that's a microcosm I think is some changes that they made the music app.
First they got rid of the little airplay icon; they force you to go into control center to use that functionality. This is a pointless regression, and it goes against culturally what Apple would've done in the past. Worse than this, is when you're navigating through your music and you reorient your phone from portrait to landscape the system assumes that you want to look at the last played albums playlist instead of changing the view (cover flow in iOS 6 for example). This to my recollection is the first time in the history of an apple iOS app that it has not changed the way that it renders based on orientation but changed in fact what you're doing based on orientation. The natural affordance for rotating a device is to change your view, unless you're in a game and it becomes steering or something. The reason Apple iOS is so intuitive that a toddler or a tribal child who has never seen a computer can figure it out in seconds is that they have historically adhered app behavior to natural affordances.Wow, this just went from bad to even worse. Now, rotation in the Music app brings a tiled alphabetical listing of all your album covers. That's just fucking retarded. Even if I navigated to my playlist by artist this arbitrary view presents. I will NEVER use this view to get to an album, it is completely impractical. And when I go to the list view of a playlist, rotation does nothing at all, not even using the aforementioned playlist view that they used to have where the tiled album art listing now presents.
If they insist on a gimmicky tiled view like this, the sensible way to do it is to list the artists alphabetically vertically and then have the tiles of their albums/album art span horizontal space going out to the right under each corresponding artists. But it's still just weird to totally change what's going on just because you rotated the device.
Bad stuff… I will be using Listen to play music now. I didn't think it was possible to fuck Music up that bad...
Beyond how bad that is, why would they just push out such a drastic change like that? It just changed right under me. That's so un-Apple. Even doing that between a major release is unlike them, much less a transparent, sudden update changing core functionality of an app... it's just so strange on so many levels...

Tried to "reset all settings" on my phone and it still wont work???
-
Have you tried yelling and cussing at it? sometimes I do that. Not that it fixes anything but it takes away the urge to play homerun derby with it momentarily
-
YES I HAVE FUCK!!!! STUPID FUCKING UPDATE!!! FUUUUUUUCK!!!
-
As far as I'm aware, you need to plug your phone in to restore it to factory settings.
I felt the pain with my iPad, especially since my home computer wouldn't allow me to do it and I had to bring it to work. Lost all my apps, books, magazines, etc.
On the upside, if you're like me, it could probably use a good cleaning.

Can anyone tell me how to get back being able to scroll photos when I do a google image search on safari for my iPhone? Now it just comes up similar to in my PC instead of how it use to he so easy to shuffle through an image search
-
Point of reference:
This is what I get when I do an image search instead of a scrolling screen of images as it used to be.
-
That's probably on Google
-
Yeah, I'm just saying burnished to be you would do an image search, then click on a picture and you would be able to scroll through all pics the search brought up… Not now though

:-\ that's a bummer. I use that feature a lot when searching for reference material at work. I'll check out google search app. Thanks snowy.

Got my iMessage and Facetime sorted out finally. Guy at apple told me that it seems like most people that did the update via WiFi are having this issue. Told me to DL the new 7.0.2 to my comp then when finished update my phone. Then had to back up my phone anderase everything off of it. Then restart it like a brand new phone. Once it was setup like new i could activate my iMessage and Facetime!!! Lastly was just a matter of restoring all my backed up info. FINALLY FUCK!
