Yeah, I had the same problem with my wallet (not IH-FW). A standard billfold has a depth (or width) of 3.5". That depth can't hold larger denomination Euros, Yuan, etc. So to solve this, I got a custom wallet maker to construct a very similar folding wallet in reddish brown and tan but make it 3.75" deep. It's just enough clearance to keep the tops of your bills from getting all beat up.

Volcano/Ben have you treated your wallet with oil or is that natural. Mine is a bit over a year and yours are both much darker than mine

Mine is a year and a half I think….and I've definitely treated it with one obenaufs. But only one time I think.....yours looks great Jeff! Just keep rocking it and it'll get dark eventually

D666, i've treated mine just once or twice of Mustangs Paste and that's it.. been thrashing it and throwing it around.
and I just got a recent comment about how hideous and dirty my wallet looks. oh well…

Anesth; Kawatako currently @ 5 months old; (http://25.media.tumblr.com/628a2efbb5cd068550f68f97dab3f931/tumblr_mlg7uufO2k1s289z4o4_r1_500.jpg) [not linking as to not 'shit up' the thread]. The Kawatako is still too thick, and the patina it's developing, doesn't seem to be reflecting top quality leather. I've got a Wild Child sitting in the wings here, so once/if I start working on that I'll pick up IH-FW :). Hence hoping it's still around, as apposed to just pulling the trigger on.

You have good taste my friend, both brands make excellent leather goods. I have the WC wallet myself, BUT I found myself liking the IH better. Whereas I do miss the silver ring and the cool pattern that you will get on your pocket, the IH is more compact and just oozes quality. Lucky for me, I'm a total wallet whore and don't really care how many I amass. I think I'm at around 30, so I'm set for life, as is all of my family after I'm gone.
